Saturday Night Weather Advisory
SAT April 29, ROGER GORDILLO - As I start to sit down and write this article I peruse through a few different sites to see what the weather is like outside in the boxing world. And as surely as I suspected everyone is dressed for good weather. Their talking about Floyd and Oscar, and anything else you can think of unaware of the oncoming storm...

Steward's Magic Makes Wladimir Unbeatable?
TUE April 25, CLIFF ROLD - Trainer Manny Steward has always had a thing for lanky punchers. Thomas Hearns, Gerald McClellan, Michael Moorer and Lennox Lewis were all lethal punchers, all made more so under Steward's tutelage. Saturday night in Mannheim, Germany, it appeared that Steward has found the latest model of his prototype... [Link Takes You To RingTalk.com]

Its Official: Wladimir Klitschko Is Back, Wins IBF Title
SUN April 23, FRANK GONZALEZ - Congratulations to the new IBF Heavyweight Champion, Wladimir Klitschko, who used his jab and combination punching to pummel Chris Byrd in their rematch in Mannheim Germany Saturday night. Wladimir has experienced the glory of success and the agony of defeat since his first meeting with Byrd back in October of 2000. Though Klitschko utterly dominated Byrd in 2000, this time it was worse.

Heavyweight Fighters & Heavyweight Writers
WED April 19, CLIFF ROLD - I can’t be sure, but it is possible that myself and fellow Ring Talk scribe Jason Aniel are among the only writers anywhere outside of Indonesia who have actually seen the Juan Manuel Marquez-Chris John WBA featherweight title fight held during the first week of March... I Love The Heavyweights | Byrd v Klitschko
MON April 17, BUSTER PARIS - Here’s a statement that’s seldom heard and a sentiment not felt by most since Lennox Lewis hung ‘em up in 2003, but today I say to all of you– I love the Heavyweight division.
I love it for where it's been and I love it for where it's going.
The state of things today well...I can't decide which analogy works best its either that the division is having a mid-life crisis or...
The More Active of The Two
MON April 17, ROGER GORDILLO - Fights are often tabbed as a cross roads bout, but in ESPN’s Friday Night Fights Main event featuring Heavyweight contenders Dominick “The Southern Disaster” Guinn and Britain’s Audley “A Force” Harrison the term never rang truer than tonight.
Strange Sights at The Zab and Floyd Fight
MON April 8, BUSTER PARIS - It’s the end of round 2 and I’m nervous. This so far is not the cakewalk I thought it was going to be for Floyd. It’s a strange sight watching the pound per pound best fighter in the world struggle and look somewhat awkward. It’s a strange sight watching the best pound per pound fighter in the world almost falling down – peddling backward to keep his balance and sweeping his glove ever so gently off the canvas, but not falling down.

Five Reasons Mayweather Vs Judah Does(n't) Matter
FRI April 7, CARL RICE - Have you heard? Apparently, Floyd Mayweather had a conversation with Brian Kenny on ESPNews and…this is where the conversation turns into an opinion. In other words, an individual will take the conversation as they want to frame it and convey their personal opinion. I will try to convey the conversation without any bias:
Quick Thoughts On Mayweather, Judah and Belts
FRI April 7, BUSTER PARIS - Right out of the box let me say I am psyched for this fight on Saturday – April 8th 2006 between “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather and “Super” Zab Judah – I think it’s going to be a very cool fight and I suspect the ring walks will be nominated in this years Tony Awards.

Best Heavyweight Fight of 2006 (so far)
MON April 3, BUSTER PARIS - Just when you’re ready to wash your hands of the Heavyweight division you get an unexpected and spectacular surprise – in this case in more ways than one. We had the best (to date) Heavyweight battle of 2006 and were privileged to witness two fighters full of heart and superb sportsmanship that we can all feel proud of our sport.
The Water Gets Stirred At Heavyweight, Liakhovich Bests Brewster
MON April 3, FRANK GONZALEZ - The HW division is like water. It is formless. The time is ripe for someone to step up, take over, and become the form that towers over the others.
Congratulations to "The New" WBO, Heavyweight Champion of the World, Sergei "The White Wolf" Liakhovich of Belarus, who was ranked 13th by the WBO before his undisputed Unanimous Decision victory over Lamon Brewster.
